Ledger, 1735-1772 (bulk 1750-1765).

Ledger kept by Denker (1735-1772) recording charges for grinding, bolting, and packing flour; loans of wheat; sales of corn; and some miscellaneous accounts. Some entries include the customer's profession or trade, or form of payment made such as barter, services, or cash. Some accounts are "insolvent". Among his many customers were members of the Bender, Teal, Eckert, Rycort, and Kip families, as well as Ary Hendricks with whom he had a very large account for the sale or purchase of a wide variety of merchandise. Some entries indicate that Denker may have been in the employ of Henry Beekman.
